This is a Test

This is a test...
I am using Windows Live Writer to post this blog.  This is my first experience with this method of blogging.  Has anyone else out there utilized this method for writing their blogs?
Hyperlinking is pretty cut and dry.. so that went without a hitch.  :-)     The ability to play with various options that Blogger does not have for adding pictures and messing with boarders, effects, and color is way cool!  A plus for me; I like to play with that stuff!

Okay.. I have seen Baby Coupons and Stuff  on Facebook posting these crazy Stereograms and I have yet to find the 3-D image in any of them. So of course, my curiosity was raised since others where claiming they could see them without little effort. I came across this site dedicate to nothing but sharing sterograms and had to share! Now tell me.. do you see the hidden 3-D picture in this one? I know I don't! LOL!

Skillet Bacon Spread Review

One of my deepest guilty pleasure is BACON!  I can't get enough of it!  I am a true connoisseur of bacon. With that being said, I would never lead any other bacon lover down the wrong path where bacon is concerned.  When you are looking to try something new, and you love BACON, then this is exactly what you are looking for.  Skillet's Bacon Spread is the perfect combination of smoky delectable bacon with just the right amount of a sweet undertone with a dash (mild) of tang.  This savory blend will delight every sense you have!  I took a couple pictures of my Skillet Bacon Spread, but as you can see, the clarity is not what I would have liked.  But the main purpose of the pictures was to give you a realistic look at what this spread presented like.

The Boy's take on Spaghetti Hot Dogs! {Kid Friendly Recipe}

On a stroll through some blogs off a list of blogs Sadie from Randomosity was kind enough to get going (make sure to jump on there) I came across the Aubut Family blog where I came across this recipe: Spaghetti Hot Dogs! {Kid Friendly Recipe}: where she came across this recipe here: IronShay | Spaghetti Hot Dog:

At first I was like.. hmmm.. cool fun idea for the kids to get involved in... but was not so sure how I would like it as a meal for myself being a savory person loving some hard core meat and potatoes, but we decided to give it a try.

"Best Left Buried" by Cindy Hutchins Book Review & Giveaway!

"Best Left Buried" By Cindy Hutchins Book Review and Giveaway

Think Dean Koontz meets Stephen King meets Alfred Hitchcock meets Cindy Hutchins... That is the feel of “Best Left Buried”.

As many may know, I seldom have time to read for leisure.  Actually, I can’t recall the last book other than children books that I have read just because I wanted to sit and read a good book.  However I digress, I recently received a copy of “Best Left Buried” by Cindy Hutchins.  After finishing up work for the day (generally around 2 to 3 in the morning) I began reading this unknown treasure.  After the first few pages, I was hooked causing the next few days to be outrageously late nights (still up when my children rose).  It was just that GOOD! If you ever wondered if a persons thoughts could create an evil entity, you definitely need to read this book!

Blog Hop with an Alexa Twist!

Hi everyone!  While strolling through blogsphere a couple evenings ago, I came across a awesome blog (well many but one in particular really stood out) The Aubut Family Blog.  The reason this blog stood out so prevalent was because she (Cassandra) taught me something new.  I have always been aware of Alexa Rankings, that was nothing new, BUT I honestly was unaware of the Alexa Toolbar!  Yes, I said it... Deana did not know squat about the Alexa toolbar.  Now mind you, it's not like I haven't visited Alexa.com numerous times, but I guess the entire toolbar concept was lost on me.  More than likely the first time I saw it I thought - "Just what you need Deana ~ Another toolbar to slow down your already slow as molasses computer down even more!" and totally disregarded it.  Had I known the great value there is in this simple to download and install toolbar, I would have been an Alexa reviewing addict many many moons ago.  But I have seen the light thanks to Cassandra!  So seriously... all credit goes to this woman who has taught an old dog a new trick!

You can comment any day now....

Okay, I am not delusional and think that everyone is going to be running to this blog to comment about writing tips and marketing tips.  It definitely is not everyone’s cup of tea and some could honestly care less.  I’m not mad at them.  I totally get it.  But when we do get comments on our blogs, we do appreciate it.  You can learn a lot about your readers through their reaction to your post through their comments.

This is not my Title

I think the biggest struggle I have to this very day, including this blog is creating a catchy  title that grabs readers attention.  Every once in a while I will pull it off but for the majority of the time, I fail.  However, a great title is important in more ways than one.  Not only does your title have to catch readers attention, in article writing it also has to contain the main keyword of topic as well as deliver a promise.
