belVita’s Soft Baked Oats & Chocolate Breakfast Biscuits Review

I am in LOVE with belVita's.  No really!  I received a single serve package of the belVita's  Soft Baked Oats & Chocolate Breakfast Biscuits from Influenster in my ManaVoxBox and to be honest, it sat in the box for a few days.  I was not excited to try it at all.  See, I am not a huge fan of those granola types healthy breakfast bars type of stuff.  Actually, I am not a big breakfast eater at all.  I know, it is supposed to be the most important meal of the day, but I have never really ever eaten breakfast even as a kid unless forced.  So as I was going through and reviewing the other things that came in the box I was down to just the belVita.  Time to suck it up and give it a try.  I was starting to get a little hungry anyhow so I figured it was quick and easy and I didn't need to leave my desk but really didn't have high hopes for it winning me over.  Damn if I wasn't all kinds of wrong!  When I opened it I was like here goes nothing and figured if I didn't eat but a bite of it I was sure my boys would be happy to finish it off for me.  I ate one bite and I knew the boys would never get the opportunity then to try it.  It was delicious!  It was soft and just the right amount of chocolate to make it sweet but not grossly sweet.  It was perfect!  It tasted like a cookie made in heaven!  I am in love with belVita's and have since bought more!  This definitely gets two thumbs up and 5 stars and I am not easy to win over!

Dr. Scholl's For Her Comfort Insoles

I received in my MomaVox from Influenster a pair of Dr. Scholl's For Her Comfort Insoles for review.  Since they did not fit proper in my shoes, I shared them with a friend and this is her review of this product.

If you’re like me you know how painful tired achy feet can be, which is why I felt like a brand new person after having tried Dr. Scholl's For Her Comfort Insoles.  I thought yeah right how can these inserts make that big of a difference, but I was wrong they are a great addition to any shoe.

The day that I received my Dr. Scholl’s For Her Comfort Insoles, I was planning on working in the yard.  When I usually do this, I find that I have to take numerous breaks or even quit early because my feet are killing me.  But not that day, I was able to move from task to task easier and faster than I have before.  My feet were not hurting and I was able to accomplish everything I wanted to get done that day.  I cannot say how much these soles proved themselves that day.

After completing my yard work in the past I was too tired to do much of anything else, but that day I still had the energy to go grocery shopping.  I removed the inserts from my yard shoes and put them in my everyday shoes and was able to complete my shopping pain free.  I can’t express to everyone reading this how much more comfortable I am in my shoes and on my feet for long periods of time.  I am planning on purchasing another pair to keep in both pairs of my shoes so that I don’t have to keep taking them in and out, that is how much I love this product.

If you haven’t already tried the Dr. Scholl's For Her Comfort Insoles, I don’t know why not!  I would highly recommend that anyone who is reading this blog that has experienced pain in their feet to run out and purchase a pair of these inserts.  Trust me your feet will thank you! ~ Michelle~

Annie’s Macaroni & Cheese Review

I received in my MomaVox from Influenster box a single serve Annie’s Real Aged Cheddar Microwavable Macaroni and Cheese for review.  My thoughts are my own and my sons on this product.

 

Annie's Macaroni & Cheese is made with real cheese and my son had no problem with me taking a picture of him enjoying every last bit of it!  Andrew, pictured, stated that Annie’s Macaroni and Cheese is comparable to the Kraft microwavable – however I disagree.  Maybe he was just really hungry because it was right after school.  To me the texture (noodles) was a bit mushy and the cheese sauce was thick and not very tasty.  I am going to guess it is pretty high in sodium as well.

 

When you make it you first add water to the noodles and this white powder stuff that is used as a thickener and stir.  For one thing, there is far too much thickener in the container, at least there was in ours.  You then nook it for 3 minutes, stir it, then add the cheese powder in and stir until the cheese has fully been incorporated into the pasta and thickener.  Now I had tasted the thickener prior to adding the cheese powder to the mix just to see if it had a taste – it does – and definitely leaves an aftertaste on your palate.  I again tasted it after the cheese mixture was fully incorporated and naw… I will so pass!  Maybe it is my adult palate or that I tasted the thickener before adding the cheese, but personal, it was not very tasty to me.  It wasn't horrible mind you, just not what I would like in a mac and cheese and definitely not for the price they are asking for it.   I do like though that it is made in the United States.

Pond’s Luminous Finish BB+ Cream Review

I received Pond's Luminous Finish BB+ Cream as part of a release review product - both the Light and the Medium coverage. Not a stranger to BB creams, I was excited to see what Pond's had to offer in this arena. I wish I could give it a raving review but I cannot; although the pros do outweigh the cons.

I will be 50 this year and yes, my face is showing signs of aging. I have wrinkles and generally when shopping for a BB cream, I want something that is going to at least minimize the appearance of my wrinkles. Pond's Luminous Finish BB Plus Cream with SPF 15, Light Shade, 1.5 Ounce coverage is sheer yet the matte of it appeared to emphasis my wrinkles more. However, I had been a heavy smoker for years and my face still shows the signs of that so it isn't like they are the easiest thing to disguise.

The fragrance of the Pond’s Luminous is very pleasant though and it is very moisturizing. It is a little greasy - not sure that greasy the right word, but one may be able to use a finishing powder over it to obtain better coverage while still getting the benefits that the Pond's BB+ does offer.

And not to be crazy weird or anything, but if you were wanting to look natural yet have a nice glow, at bedtime for you know… a little horizontal dancing or something along those lines, and want to skip a bedtime moisturizer, this would be perfect for that!!  ;-)
 
The Pond’s Luminous Finish BB+ Cream states it gives instant luminous coverage and aids in visible dark spot reduction with tone perfecting complex and broad spectrum SPF 15 sunscreen.  I do not have dark spots so I am unable to give any feedback on that, but I do think after continued use the tone and feel of your skin would be much smoother and over time may aid in lessening the visibility of wrinkles.

One of my deepest guilty pleasure is BACON!  I can't get enough of it!  I am a true connoisseur of bacon. With that being said, I would never lead any other bacon lover down the wrong path where bacon is concerned.  When you are looking to try something new, and you love BACON, then this is exactly what you are looking for.  Skillet's Bacon Spread is the perfect combination of smoky delectable bacon with just the right amount of a sweet undertone with a dash (mild) of tang.  This savory blend will delight every sense you have!  I took a couple pictures of my Skillet Bacon Spread, but as you can see, the clarity is not what I would have liked.  But the main purpose of the pictures was to give you a realistic look at what this spread presented like.
