How You Can Boost Your Business Using Social Media

Social media offers business owners the opportunity to reach thousands of potential customers.  With so many different social media websites available, the potential to attract customers has increased dramatically.  If you feel that you are not getting as much out of your social media posts as you had imagined, I have listed some ways in which you boost your online business.

  • Know What’s Trending – Posting information that is both relevant and current to your particular business niche is a great way to ensure that your posts are read.  There are many online tools available for you to use to see what is trending on social media.  Using one of these online tools will help you choose keywords to use in your posts which will help your posts get noticed by your target audience.  Posting content related to what is currently trending is a great way to get attention and perhaps attract some new followers and customers.
  • Images – Whenever you can include an image with your post you should do so.  Social media users are drawn to content that includes images or infographics.  They are also a great way to increase engagement on your posts.  If you’re looking for a way to get your posts to stand out on newsfeeds, images are the perfect choice.  When using images in your posts, it is also highly recommended that you include a creative call to action.  This is a great way to increase lead generation, which can then result in more sales.
  • Expand Your Base – If you’re looking for new followers and more likes on your posts, one of the best ways to accomplish this is by expanding your base.  One of the fastest ways to increase your Facebook fans is to direct message the link to your page to all of your Twitter followers.  This can be done across all of your social media accounts and can help you gain the exposure that your business needs.  You also have the option of paying for ads on Facebook and Twitter, but that decision is up to you.  In some cases the likes you receive off of these ads may be from people who are not generally interested in your business.

Using social media as part of your marketing campaign is a great way to increase your online visibility.  It can be somewhat of a daunting task, but when you figure out the best approach for your business, it will become easier.  To ensure that your posts are reaching the right people, you should also determine who your target audience is.  Once you do this, your marketing efforts will reach the people who are most likely to turn into customers.

How You Can Create an Effective Social Media Post

If you’re like many of us, you have come to rely on social media as part of your marketing efforts.  As much as we would like, there is no magic formula that we can follow to ensure that all of our posts are entertaining and worthy of getting shared.  Depending on which social media websites you use, they all operate in somewhat different fashions.

The fans that you may have on one site may not be as entertained by your posts as some on other sites, this means that you need to find a happy medium and produce content that will ensure your fans are happy on all of your social media pages.  To help you make the most of your social media efforts, I have put together some tips for use on each of the different social media websites.

    • Facebook – When you post on Facebook it is important that you posts are upbeat and positive.  This type of content tends to be more appealing to your fans and is more likely to get shared.  You should also remember to include a link back to your website to help drive your fans to your site.  This is likely the primary reason you created a Facebook page after all isn’t it.  If you include images in your posts, you should make sure that they can easily be viewed on mobile devices; it’s more common for your fans to view your posts on their phones than a traditional computer.
    • Pinterest – Pinterest is still somewhat of a new social media site and many businesses are still trying to figure how to use it to their benefit.  One of the most important things to keep in mind when using Pinterest is that images that do not feature a face are often repinned more often than images featuring a face.  Color is also another important element to use when posting images.  It has been shown that images that feature the colors red or orange are repinned twice as much as other images.
    • Twitter – With the limited amount of characters you have to work with on this platform, it is important that you include a clear call to action in your tweets.  You should also make the most out of your limited space by using shorter links to your website.  There are a number of tools available that can help you shorten a link that you are sharing.  To engage your followers you may want to consider adding facts, questions, and figures.

Do All Your Internet Marketing at Article Write Up’s One-Stop Shop

Whether you are a newbie at internet marketing or an experienced veteran, there is a multi-faceted company that will help you cross off all the items on your shopping list.  Article Write Up offers a complete array of online marketing services and strategies which will help you make the rankings.

    1. Informative SEO articles will entice shoppers to your aisle in the internet market.
    2. Our press releases begin with a client press release questionnaire. Just as you wouldn’t think of buying unripe produce, your press releases will be revised until you’re completely satisfied with the results.
    3. Social media management is our newest internet marketing service.  If you’re hesitant about trying innovative marketing tools, we’ll help you lift this product into your shopping cart and wheel it out to your vehicle.
    4. Author Publicity comes in a variety of flavors at Article Write Up, including SEO articles, press releases, and book reviews written by those who communicate for a living.
    5. E-books are the frozen dinners of the internet market.  They are easily downloaded and provide several necessities in one convenient package.
    6. Autoresponders allow shoppers to consume small bytes of information via e-mail and help them decide whether or not they’d like a larger serving.
    7. Forum posts are similar to coming across the grocery store worker who is offering samples.  As shoppers eat the sample, they can give opinions and suggestions about the product or ask questions.  Although perhaps originally they were just hungry and wanted a small snack, the shopper may end up purchasing the product.
    8. Blog posts can be compared to the grocery store ads in the newspaper.  Your customers are kept informed about the new products and services you have available, which items are on sale, and what your store hours are.  One major difference between blogs and print ads is that most blogs are interactive.
Once you’ve crossed these eight items of your internet marketing list, Article Write Up will help you package up your purchases and will furnish follow-up services to you.

Respect – Why You Want It and How to Get It

Respect? Why would you care? After all, you are just selling goods and services. It is the bottom line you care about, right? Of course you do. The truth is that gaining the respect of your target market will translate into a healthy boost for your business.

When you become a go-to source for information about your industry, people trust you. They trust that you will not cheat them or send out a faulty product. They believe the fact that you truly care about their needs and wishes as consumers.

So, how do you get all this respect? Earn respect through social media management and SEO marketing. Here is a rundown of how it works.

Posting on social media sites gives you the opportunity to share what you know about your industry. Simple posts like tips or statistics can make an impact if they are carefully worded. I certainly notice when I see a well-written post with interesting information. I not only read it, but I also point my friends to it.
You can and should have links to that come back to you. Social media sites make this easy by presenting your username as a clickable link. The link takes the reader to your profile page. If you have prepared the way, they will learn more there.

At the same time, you can post links to other websites or blogs where they will learn more about what you do. The more familiar they become with your industry; the more likely they are to want to use services such as yours. Then, it is just a matter of pointing them back to you.

Your profile page needs to be exciting and informative to intrigue people. When they become interested in you and your company, they can click on the link to your website to find out more about you. Once they are there, carefully crafted website content will encourage readers to follow up and quite possibly make a purchase.

I will just give you a taste of what SEO marketing can do for your image as an expert. SEO articles can explain facets of your industry that others do not understand. Standard procedure is to post a link with the article that brings readers to your site. Add powerful SEO press releases, and you have the beginnings of a very successful marketing plan.

If you want to become known as an expert in your field, let us help you do it. At ArticleWriteUp.com, we provide exceptional social media management services and reliable SEO marketing.

Social Media’s Direct Route to Charitable Causes

I have noticed lately that people are using social media more to get attention for their charities. Facebook is revolutionizing organ donation right now, for example. Maybe if you are a business owner, you are thinking, “What does this have to do with me?” Actually, it may mean a lot to your business in terms of public relations. Getting involved with a meaningful cause is a great way to improve the public’s perception of your company.

Businesses that sponsor charitable events and drives get the benefit of good press. They also have opportunities to get out their branding messages. For-profit companies often sponsor charity golf events, dinners or races. When they do, the traditional route is to hand out logo hats, T-shirts, or other branded goodies. I show up in a logo shirt or carry a logo bag, and people around me take notice.

Social media platforms bring people together in several ways. Just interacting on Facebook, Twitter and Google+ can get the word out that you are involved in helping others. I have sent and been sent invitations to events through Facebook. I always read them because I do not want to miss out on something important to me.

I also hear about causes I am interested in from Twitter posts. Conversations can start up and spread easily in those feeds. If I want to find out what is going on with my favorite charities, I check out the trending topics and search for them. When I do, I notice pretty quickly who is putting on events to advance my cause.

If you are participating in a charitable event, you probably want everybody to know about it. Get on those social media sites. Post details and statistics about the cause. Post inspirational messages that are relevant to your charity. Include a motto or slogan of your own along with a mention of the charity.

If your profile picture does not tell something about your business, change it right away. It should be your logo, a photo of a company leader, or an illustration or photo showing your services. When consumers see your logo or special image associated with social giving, the positive exposure goes a long way.

You look good when you help others, but remember that while you are looking good, you are also making an impact on a worthy cause. You do not have to steal the show away from the cause you sponsor. All you have to do is let people know you are involved. They will draw their own conclusions, and you will get the positive results you want.

Do you have a charity that your business sponsors?

Ask us about how we can publicize your involvement in charitable causes through social media management. ArticleWriteUp.com can do the work to improve your image and visibility.

    Facebook Overload

Many Social Media Management companies offer 8 and sometimes even more Facebook updates in their social media packages; we do as well.  Nevertheless, although we will give a client what they want to a degree, unless we feel it would not be in their best interest, we really do not recommend that many updates on your Facebook fanpage.
You will see many Facebook fanpages out there being updated by Twitter as well as the administrators 8 or more times a day.  What happens to those updates?  Do you really think they are being read or well received?  If you think they are, you are sadly mistaken.

    AWU Tweets!
